Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), promoting rail travel to the German city of Frankfurt Am Main, showing market traders setting-up their stalls in front of the City Hall (or 'Romer'). Forming the historical centre of the city, the three Gothic buildings of Frankfurt's City Hall were originally built between 1288 and 1305. Artwork by Fred Taylor (1875-1963).
