An unfortunate oversight resulted in the inclusion of this piece as an anonymous work, when in fact it was designed by the Russian-born Broodovitch, who upon emigrating to Paris in 1917 became ""one of the most gifted graphic artsists of the period, on par with Cassandre, but he submerged his own career to teach and direct others. In Paris he designed sets for the Ballets Russes and did page designs for Arts et Metiers Graphiques. In 1930 he moved to the United States as a guest of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which was creating an advertising art department and museum school"".
