Notable among these were the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles and the following year, the World's Fair in Chicago-with Villa as poster designer for both. Here, his triumphant representation of Progress holds up a miniaturized Chicago skyline, with the city winking, star-like, on a globe behind.
