Framed like a cameo and depicted in rich shades of green and ocher, the handsome woman wears a hairstyle, jewels, long gown and sumptuous lace cape that bespeak the elegance of this Swiss women's fashion emporium. Bickel created poster designs for Switzerland's finest merchants; this is one of two he did-in widely differing styles-for Seiden-Spinner in 1913. Giclee Prints are printed on heavy matte finish 180gsm German art paper using the finest Canon archival inks. Entry Level Art Prints are printed on 250Gsm satin paper.
