A serene, reassuring scene, with cheruby children and mother, awaiting the taste of Tropon cocoa. Livemont was the foremost Belgian practitioner of the Art Nouveau style. His posters invite comparison to Mucha but it should be remembered that he had already produced several posters by the time Mucha created his first. Above all, Livemont was a skilled lithographer, a quality that is evident in the subtle colors of this extremely rare poster. The only place where this image is illustrated and identified is on the December 1900 issue of the poster. Giclee Prints are printed on heavy matte finish 180gsm German art paper using the finest Canon archival inks. Entry Level Art Prints are printed on 250Gsm satin paper. Quality Frame with a single white matboard and Acrylic glazing.
