This is the Spanish version of the Sools hat company poster Cassandre created the same year. Mouron indicates that this is a perfect example of Cassandres reliance on the emblematic mode to achieve its effect by associating the product with an image that characterizes it indelibly . . .the artist has designed a three-headed figure wearing a top-hat, a derby and a fedora silhouetted in black-and -white on three hieratic masks which gaze out on the world with frigid urbanity (in one the eye is reduced to a monocles perfect circle). This is one of only three known copies of this design; no copy of the French version is known to exist.
