There's no getting around the fact that this advertisement is for a motor oil, which at its core is not that romantic a subject. You wouldn't know that, however, judging from Thor's interpretation of his subject; that the vehicular recipients of said products are primarily rendered in deep brown hues are about the only hint we're given. The rest of the artwork is bathed in sumptuous sunset tones, casting a spell of instant nostalgia that resonates far more than any Penzoil commercial ever could. Thor, a member of the Salon des Artistes Francais, is best known for his humorous turn-of-the-century transportation posters. Giclee Prints are printed on heavy matte finish 180gsm German art paper using the finest Canon archival inks. Entry Level Art Prints are printed on 250Gsm satin paper. Quality Frame with a single white matboard and Acrylic glazing.

.
