Peugeot is one of the earliest French makes, having been found in 1899; by 1913, it developed the classic racing engine prototype, copied or emulated by many successors. That year, Peugeot won the French Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500, and broke world speed records at Brooklands in England. These achievements made Vincent choose the racing model in his design, even though there had been a four-year hiatus since those races were run because of the War. Still, association with success, even in the past, makes for a powerful statement, especially when combined with Vincents flair for an imposing composition. Giclee Prints are printed on heavy matte finish 180gsm German art paper using the finest Canon archival inks. Entry Level Art Prints are printed on 250Gsm satin paper. Quality Frame with a single white matboard and Acrylic glazing.
